Hillsborough County Deputies arrested a man they say stalked then attacked his ex-girlfriend.
According to HCSO, 37-year-old Damian Clarke attacked his ex outside of her apartment, forced her inside of her home at gunpoint, hit her with his gun then grabbed her by the throat.
At one point the victim retrieved a gun of her own, but Clarke managed to get it away from her and put it in his pocket, according to arrest documents.
Deputies also say he sent her hundreds of text messages over the past several months and say the victim claimed he has called her at least a thousand times since the relationship ended more than a year ago.
Clarke is also accused of vandalizing her car as well as loitering outside of her home.
