The Clearwater Police Department is asking for help identifying three suspects breaking into a tour boat off Clearwater Beach.

Around 2:30 am on Monday, surveillance video shows three suspects going through a window of the boat to get bottles of liquor.

The Tropics Boat Tour is a popular destination along the Marina that takes people out into the Gulf off Clearwater Beach.

Owner, Trisha Rodriquez, said the suspects came into the boat around 2:30 a.m. and went through their liquor cabinet.

Luckily, they did not damage the equipment or the boat inside.

"We have surveillance video, we have a locked boat, we have everything in place to protect us and our business," she said.

Rodriquez isn't worried about what was stolen inside, but how the suspects entered.

The young men believed to be in their late teens, early twenties would have had to get onto wooden pillars just off the dock, before jumping into the window of the boat.

"It's very unsafe, the things that could have happened to them," she said.
