TAMPA, Fla. -- Dangerous behavior behind the wheel of two vehicles were caught on camera in a South Tampa neighborhood.
While thousands of drivers were caught in Wednesday's unprecedented standstill traffic, two others treated the Golfview neighborhood like their own personal race track.
"It looked like somebody skidding and hydro-planing, but then when two cars did it, it was deliberate and that is what stunned me," said neighbor Ed Carmack.
Video surveillance given to ABC Action News shows two cars racing through the streets, at one point, both cars whip through a yard on San Rafael Street, just one block east of Dale Mabry Highway.
"I heard the racing of engines," said Lee Andrews.

A few blocks away, Johnny Gibbs says the same cars knocked off his mailbox.
"They ripped it off the post, the post was turned about 90 degrees and this was on the ground with our mail," said Gibbs.
Gibbs, a local doctor, knows this could have been much worse. That's the same area where he and his son toss the baseball around most afternoons.
"It just takes one look away for something catastrophic to happen that could change a lot of people," said Gibbs.
