The newest entertainment venue to open in the Bay Area will bring more than jobs, but high hopes of other businesses as well.

Dave & Buster's, an entertainment game center, will open it's doors on Monday, but you can expect for more growth in the area that sits off the Selmon Expressway and Interstate 75.

The newest location to open in Florida will sit near Topgolf, Bass Pro Shop, and iFLY Brandon.

County Commissioner Ken Hagan tells ABC Action News that the idea of an entertainment district came more than four years ago.

Hagan said that with Dave & Busters opening in Brandon it will help bring a hotel, and at least two specialty restaurants in the next two years, adding, in all, he expects up to 3,000 new jobs.

"We hired over 240 hourly employees," said General Manager Tim Johnson.

Johnson is coming to the area after opening and running the Dave & Busters in Panama City Beach.

Johnson said there's a lot of room for growth because of the proximity of the location near Interstate 75 and Interstate 4.
