TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a bicyclist was killed Friday morning when he was hit by multiple cars.
The bicyclist was crossing Bruce B. Downs Blvd just north of USF Pine Dr. around 6 a.m. when multiple cars hit him. A passing Tampa Police Officer found the victim, according to HCSO.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say he was an older, white male and they are working to notify next of kin.
