20 teachers in Hillsborough and Pasco County will be awarded a total of $20k thanks to Cheers to PUBlic Service, sponsored by Irish 31's iCare Foundation.

Now through April 15, nominations will be accepted for standout teachers within the two counties.

Anyone can submit a nomination by clicking here.

After April 15, people will be able to vote for their favorite teacher once per day for the duration of the contest. On May 15, 20 teachers will be announced as award recipients and each will receive $1,000.

Irish 31 will recognize those teachers during public celebrations at four of their locations, including Hyde Park Village, Westchase, Westshore and Wiregrass.

The Cheers to PUBlic Service program is a partnership between Irish 31’s iCare Foundation, DeBartolo Family Foundation, Junior League of Tampa Bay, Ford Mitsubishi of Port Richey, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation

Last year, a total of $40k was awarded: $20k to teachers and $20k to youth coaches.
