TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened just 30 minutes apart on Saturday afternoon.
The first shooting happened at 4:30 p.m. in the area of 17th Avenue and 21st Street.
Police say an adult male was shot in the upper body. He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The second shooting happened at 5 p.m. in the 8500 block of N. 15th Street.
Police say the victim in that shooting was also an adult male who was shot in the upper body. He was taken to Tampa General where he was pronounced dead.
The department says both investigations are on-going. No other information was immediately available.
