16 people were arrested at Tampa's Sunset Music Festival over the weekend at Raymond James Stadium.
13 were arrested on the first day and another three on Sunday, all for felony narcotics possession. There were no misdemeanor arrests.
Back in 2016, two people died of overdoses. 30 felony arrests and 16 misdemeanor arrests were made in 2017 and day two of the festival was canceled last year due to weather.
Tampa Fire Rescue handled 149 response calls for service over the course of the two days of the festival, completing 42 trips to the hospital. Officials say most of these calls were for heat-related illnesses.
Organizers tried to combat dehydration and heat exhaustion during the festival, offering free water and encouraging festival-goers to cool off in tents.
