TAMPA, Fla. – A death investigation involving a 10-year-old boy is underway in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a shooting a little after 4:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Dreisler Street.
Upon arrival, deputies found a 10-year-old boy dead inside the home with a gunshot wound.
Deputies are trying to figure out how he died from the gunfire and whose gun it belonged to. HCSO said adults were home during the incident and the boy has an older sibling at home.
Officials did not say if a suspect has been identified.
