Police in Plant City are searching for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian on Sammonds Road and left the scene of the accident on Friday morning.
The call came in at approximately 6:50 a.m., according to Plant City police dispatch.
The pedestrian died at the scene, according to police.
Police say there were multiple people in the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
