A Crystal River woman is accused of hiding Xanax, marijuana and meth in her privates, deputies say.
Tiffany Varnes, 31, of 6450 W. Mango Lane, is now charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of cannabis and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to Citrus County deputies, Varnes was the passenger in a car they'd pulled over near Rock Crusher Road for failing to yield to a stop sign Friday.
Inside the car, deputies say they found a bullet and claim Varnes, who is a convicted felon, confessed someone gave her the bullet days prior.
When asked if she had anything illegal on her person, deputies say Varnes admitted she was hiding drugs in her vagina, an arrest affidavit states.
Varnes was taken to the jail where she surrendered the drugs, deputies say.
An arrest affidavit states, Varnes retrieved a clear plastic bag that had been hidden in her privates which contained two grams of meth, two Xanax bars wrapped in a cigarette box cellophane wrapper and another clear plastic bag containing six grams of marijuana.
Varnes is being held on $15,000 bond.
The driver of the car was not charged.
