A Floral City woman who tried to pay her rent with money she made using a printer is now facing serious charges after Citrus County deputies say they found bags of fake money in her motel room.

Tiffany Coldsnow, 31, is being held without bond on charges of criminal use of personal identification information and possessing fraudelent currency.

Deputies say Coldsnow paid her motel rent with fake money and when the landlord tried depositing the cash, bank officials told them the cash was fake.

Cleaning crews at the motel say they found bags of counterfeit cash in Coldsnow's room, a printer on the bed, a scanner, counterfeit checks and IDs, a laminating equipment, social security cards and scissors, deputies say.

During an interview, deputies say Coldsnow denied having anything to do with counterfeit money and claimed all of the items found in the hotel room belonged to her boyfriend.

Deputies say a search of Coldsnow's purse turned up Office Max receipts documenting the purchase of a printer, paper and other items.
