SPRING HILL, Fla. — The Hernando County Sheriff is currently investigating a possible shooting after a man went to his neighbor's house screaming in pain.
The call came in at about 8:50 a.m. at 5187 Alliance Ave. in Spring Hill.
Deputies say the victim went to a neighbor's house requesting assistance, reportedly 'screaming in pain and bloody.' The neighbor called 911.
The victim says it happened between 2 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.
That person was taken to a local trauma center by Hernando County Fire Rescue with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies and the K-9 team checked the home and found no other persons inside or in the immediate area.
The investigation is ongoing.
