BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — A Florida man is dead after being ejected from a golf cart in Brooksville, officials said.
The driver of the golf cart was traveling westbound on a golf cart access path near Meetinghouse Lane when he suffered a medical emergency.
The 74-year-old man left the golf cart path, struck a tree, and was ejected into a nearby pond, where he died at the scene.
