An 18-year-old is accused of battering a Citrus County school employee.

Eric Perry is now facing felony battery charges.

According to an arrest affidavit, the principal at Crest School phone police after Perry allegedly shoved a table into a job coach's abdomen Tuesday.

The female job coach declined medical attention but was very upset, deputies say.

Deputies say the female job coach was having lunch with Perry and advised him he had ten minutes until he had to be at work.

Perry ignored the job coach and continued texting on his cell phone, deputies say.

Deputies believe Perry became irritated because he kept being interrupted.

Perry reportedly told deputies he was sorry and did not mean to hurt the woman, an arrest report states.

Perry admitted to having anger issues and shoving the table, deputies say.

He is being held on $2,000 bond.
