Members of Tampa Bay Students for a Democratic Society said they have received threats after creating an event to protest Donald Trump's speech at USF.

"We've gotten a tremendous backlash.  I have to monitor it essentially every ten minutes, because they just spam the entire page," said Amanda Lynn-Hill.

Lynn-Hill said she even received a threat on her dorm room door.  She said notes with racist comments were posted to her door.

"It was kind of creepy, because I never disclosed my location," said Lynn-Hill.

She said USF housing officials are investigating the incident.  Lynn-Hill also said she plans to keep a log of all the poster who have threatened her.

Members of the USF College Republicans are shocked about the alleged threats.  Chair Person Georgia Pevy said the Trump supporters she knows respect all opinions.

"I don't think that's the way to do that, because political discourse should be open for everyone the constitution creates free speech," said Pevy.

Trump will speak to thousands inside the Sundome Friday evening.  The student protestors said they will line the sidewalks around the event.
