TAMPA, Fla. — Voters hit the polls across Tampa to cast their vote for the city's next mayor.

ABC Action News is tracking the latest on who will take Bob Buckhorn's seat as Tampa's mayor.

3:01 a.m. - Unofficial results from the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office has Jane Castor receiving 38,854 votes (73.1%). David Straz got 14,290 votes (26.9%). The voter turnout was 23.19%, which is significantly higher than the 20.56% of registered voters who cast a ballot Tampa's Municipal Election in March.

TUESDAY, April 23
8:45 p.m. - With all 103 precincts reported, Jane Castor earned over 73 percent of votes with 38,000-plus votes while David Straz generated over 26 percent of votes with 14,000-plus votes.

8:00 p.m. - David Straz concedes to Jane Castor in race for Tampa mayor.

7:57 p.m. - David Straz addresses supporters at his election watch party.

7:26 p.m. - Jane Castor declares victory. With over 52,000 votes accounted for, Castor earned over 73 percent of the votes (over 38,000 votes) while Straz generated over 26 percent of the votes (over 14,000 votes).

7:05 p.m. - With over 37,000 votes accounted for, Jane Castor has about 74 percent of votes while David Straz generated about 26 percent.

7:00 p.m. - Polls have closed for Tuesday's runoff election.

6:45 p.m. - Supporters continue to file in at David Straz's watch party. Polls will close at 7 p.m.

3:00 p.m. - ABC Action News crews are at the election night watch parties for candidates Jane Castor and David Straz.
