The stage was set for a battle between Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy.
The two debated for the first time Monday night in Orlando.
The debate was held at the University of Central Florida and broadcasted on ABC Action News.

Monday's debate was the first of two debates scheduled between Rubio and Murphy. Rubio and Murphy refused to debate their primary opponents.
The two are also scheduled to debate again on Oct. 26, from Broward College in Davie.
