If you want to vote in the presidential primary in Florida, the deadline to register is quickly approaching.
Feb. 16 is the deadline to be registered to vote for the primaries in Florida. If you're already a registered voter, you can vote in the primary for whichever political party you're associated with. However, if you want to vote in a different primary or if you're not a registered voter, you must register by Feb. 16.
Florida is a closed primaries state which means you must register for a party and have the form postmarked on or before Feb. 16 to vote in the March primaries.
If you only wish to vote for the general election, you don't need to select a party but you must still be a registered voter.
