Polaris recalls off-highway vehicles due to fuel leak, fire hazards

Polaris is recalling 16,800 recreational off-highway vehicles due to possible fuel leaks and fire hazards. 

The recall affects all models of the Youth RZR 170 ROVs made from 2015 to 2017. The vehicles have two seats and they were sold in red, blue and white. 

Polaris has received 102 reports of cracked fuel tank necks and 28 reports of burning, smoking, melted and/or shorted wires, including four reports of fires.

No injuries have been reported with this recall

The off-highway vehicles were sold at Polaris dealerships nationwide from February 2015 through July 2017. 

The vehicles retail for $4,600 to $4,800.
