Minister Louis Farrakhan says "the cultural revolution is on!" during a keynote address Sunday.
He applauded the recent controversial performances by Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar, thanked them for taking a stand and said that the Nation of Islam's security team - the Fruit of Islam - would protect Beyonce at her upcoming performances if the police wouldn't.
The speech comes after a Miami police union and other LEO organizations urged law enforcement across the country to boycott Beyonce's tour dates due to an "anti-police message" in her Super Bowl performance and in her music video for "Formation."
“She started talking all that black stuff … and white folks were like, ‘We don’t know how to deal with that,” Farrakhan told the audience, mocking former mayor Rudy Giuliani’s critique of the Super Bowl Halftime show.
