A new public service campaign designed to teach people to recognize the warning signs of gun violence is going viral on social media.

Share the PSA with your friends and family to spread awareness.

The Know the Signs campaign was started by the Sandy Hook Promise, a group made up of families of Sandy Hook victims.

The eye-opening two and a half minute video was designed to show how easy it is to miss at-risk behavior.

Nicole Hockley and Mark Barden founded the group. Both had 6-year-old sons who were among the 26 people killed by a gunman inside the Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, 2012.
