Here's how to celebrate National Burrito Day with freebies and discounts

Thursday marks National Burrito Day, a day to celebrate one of America's favorite Tex-Mex meals, and a number of national restaurant chains are offering discounts to observe the day. 

For instance, Chipotle is offering free chips and guacamole with the purchase of an entree. In order to earn the free chips and guacamole, participants must play in an online game. Click here to redeem free chips and guacamole.

At Jake's Cantina in Indian Rocks Beach, all burritos are buy one, get one free.

Over at California Tacos To Go, you can get a burrito, chips and a drink for $6.99, and they'll be adding a new buffalo chicken burrito to the menu to celebrate.

Tijuana Flats across the Bay area is offering a stuffed burrito with chips and a drink for $5.99.

Meanwhile Taco Rey also has discounted burrito prices today.

Wind down your National Burrito Day celebration by watching the Tampa Burrito Eating Championship at the Taco Bus on Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa at 6:00 p.m. The winner gets a cash prize and a championship belt.
