7-year-old Brison Aldridge was reportedly playing in a yard in Manor, TX when the dog ran out of a nearby home as its owner opened the door.
A neighbor's home security video shows the pit bull chasing the child and attacking him as he runs away. The owner of the dog is seen following the dog and attempting the pull the dog off of the child. The child suffered bites to his left and right upper thigh, and the left side of his back.
The child was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and has since been released.
The dog was transferred to the Austin Animal Center and was placed on a 10-day rabies watch quarantine. The owner of the dog has agreed to owner surrender the pit bull mix.
