The Florida National Guard announced Sunday it will activate a special task force to help combat the spread of the coronavirus in Florida.
Task Force - Medical will be made up of medical professionals and support the Florida Department of Health in Broward County— the hardest hit county in Florida, so far.

Broward County currently has 36 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Official details have not been released, but Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to address the guard’s actions at a news conference Sunday at 6 p.m. in Tallahassee.
