Want to own your own town?

Cabin Creek in Colorado is for sale.

The owner calls it a ghost town, but the town on U.S. 36, near Byers, has potential. The $350,000 price tag includes nearly five acres plus an old gas station, 8-room motel, road-side restaurant cafe, 8-space RV park, two houses and private shooting range.

"All paved highway to the property, easy 45min commute to Denver and only 10 minutes from Byers/I-70 exit. Most neighbors are hundreds of acres away," the posting on Craigslist says.

The owner has installed some new electric panels, some new wiring, a new well and new sewer, but admits the property needs more work including the RV park and cafe.

"We would like to sell," the owner wrote on Craigslist. "We have some traveling we would like to do and this project keeps us here."
