6 customers in Washington tool store draw guns on alleged thieves

MARYSVILLE, Washington — Two men who allegedly took multiple nail guns and then walked out of a store without paying for them were surrounded by other customers who weren't going to let let them get away with it.

The Daily Herald reports the men got into a Honda Civic when they left Coastal Farm & Ranch store on Saturday, and six customers surrounded them in that car. The customers had their guns raised.

The driver pulled forward and caused one man to land on the hood of the car, according to court documents . The car continued, and two customers shot at the vehicle's tires.

The car was found a couple blocks away with flat tires, and the suspects were later found and arrested.

The nail guns that had been stolen are valued at $400, reports said.
