Hillsborough County Deputies arrested a New Tampa man they say solicited naked pictures of a 17-year-old girl on Facebook.
According to court documents, 26-year-old Robert Lufriu started soliciting the pictures from the girl about a year-and-a-half ago.
Lufriu's relationship to the minor is not being released to protect her identity, but according to arrest documents, Lufriu admitted to victim's parents that he had solicited naked pictures of the girl for $50.
Other court documents say the solicitation originally started when Lufriu promised to keep a secret about the minor dating someone if she sent him a nude picture. The victim sent him a nude photo via Facebook Messenger. Those court documents also say Lufriu offered to take the victim and a friend shopping if she sent him 5 more nude photos. He also offered the teen alcohol and $50.
Lufriu also created two fake Facebook accounts to solicit photos, according to a search warrant.
Lufriu denied the allegations when ABC Action News questioned him today.
When asked why the victim would fabricate this story, he said, "listen I can't be talking about this without my lawyer."
