If you hear a thunderous noise in the skies around Tampa Bay this weekend, don't fret. MacDill Airfest is blasting off this weekend.
The free event - which also includes free parking - will feature an F-22 demo team and an A-10 demo team during the airshow that starts on Saturday, May 12 and ends on Sunday, May 13 at MacDill Air Force Base.
Air traffic will reach peak times from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels travel to Tampa Bay, according to a noise advisory release from the base, leading into the beginning of the air show's festivities on Saturday.
