Pasco County sheriff's deputies investigated a fatal work-related incident at a private landfill in Hudson Saturday, authorities said.
Shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday, Pasco deputies responded to Coastal Landfill Disposal at 11416 Houston Ave. in Hudson.
They responded to a report a of a worker who had died on scene.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, based on a preliminary investigation, it appears a male worker was involved in a work-related accident involving machinery at the worksite.
Circumstances do not appear suspicious at this time.
Pasco Sheriff's Office Forensics Unit as well as OSHA are responding and the investigation is pending.
