An unidentified 30- to 40-year-old woman was crossing East Fletcher Avenue within the marked crosswalk when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday, March 11, officials said.
The woman was hit by an unknown vehicle, possibly a dark or gray colored sedan or crossover, which drove away westbound on Fletcher Avenue.
Hillsborough County deputies say the vehicle should have damage to the front, particularly in the area of the headlights.
The unidentified woman was listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
