We feel you! We do! Here are four things to help you navigate one of the biggest online shopping days of the year:
- Even if you are not a Prime member, you can get a 30-day free trial to take advantage of the sales. It is $120 a year after that.
- College students can get a six-month free trial.
- Shopping experts day use the app Camel Camel Camel to track products and price-drop alerts.
- Do not be afraid to price match. Other retailers will be out there trying to match Amazon’s deals.
After once fearing Amazon and Prime Day, Many Tampa Bay area small businesses are now using Amazon to work for them.
It costs about $750 for a small business to hype online deals during Prime Day. Theo Prodromitis' company Spa Destinations sells sponges and lotions from Tarpon Springs. She says it is worth promoting her business on Amazon.
“It’s like having an 800-pound gorilla behind you building up your brand,” said Prodromitis.
