ORIGINAL STORY | Lanes are closed in both directions on West Kennedy Boulevard in the area of Rome and Howard avenues in Tampa after a traffic fatality.
Tampa police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1800 block of West Kennedy Blvd.
No other details have been released about the incident.
During the investigation, traffic will be shut down westbound on Kennedy Blvd from Rome Avenue and eastbound on Kennedy from Howard Avenue.
Expect West Kennedy Boulevard to be closed for several hours. Motorists should avoid the area.
