TAMPA BAY, Fla. — Wallethub.com ranked Tampa as the fifth best place to enjoy St. Patrick's Day. We have very good weather and apparently also lots of Irish pubs. But what about some fun for you and your kids?

Here are some ideas on how to find something fun the whole family can enjoy this weekend:

The Mayor's River O'Green Fest at Curtis Hixon Park starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. There's a family scavenger hunt and the whole event is pet friendly. For more information about the event, click here.

If you want to get out and get moving, there's a big run at Al Lopez park on Sunday morning. The Leprechaun's Challenge has 5K and 10K distances with registration open until Saturday night starting at $30.

You can also head to The Mall at Sundial in St. Pete for a weekend full of traditional Irish food and free Irish dance lessons. Aside from the dancing, there will be special deals offered at the mall. Fore more details, click here.
