The Academy Awards will be an exciting night!

This year, South Tampa's Lending Luxury is donating Sarina's Oscar gown, which will go to a girl in need.

It is a huge night full of glitz and glamor. Everyone is dressed to the nines at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The competition is not just fierce for the statue, but also to be considered the red carpet queen.

We turned to Sarah Jon Porreca, the inspiration behind Lending Luxury.

A South Tampa dress shop that rents out designer gowns for a fraction of the retail costs.

"We have over 4,000 dresses in stock right now," Porreca said.

We asked Porreca to choose my dress, which will be worn at the Tampa Theatre. It will then be donated to a deserving teen for prom.

Porreca narrowed it down to three gowns for Oscar Night.

PICK THE DRESS! I'll be wearing one of these dresses on Oscars night, and then the dress will be donated to a local teen...

She started with a Nina Canacci halter gown, which would cost $435.

"Jennifer Lawrence or some like a Charlize Theron -- you can definitely see this on her," said Porreca.

Her next choice is a black and silver Italian-inspired ball gown, also a Nina Canacci. The price tag: $385.

"I would say someone like Jennifer Garner would wear a dress like," Porreca said.

Porreca then showed us a vintage designs from the 1940s. The Muzzafer gown has unique embellishments, including a bow in the back.

"The bow on this dress just makes the dress," said Porreca. "You look super glamorous from the back, as well."

This is perfect for Hollywood A-List stars like Kate Winslet, she said.

It was also the priciest gown. It sells for $1,090.

This year a surprising new must, pockets.

"This is really coming out this year. [...] These celebrities, they have to have somewhere to put their iPhones. They are on social media just like us," Porreca said.
