No word if someone has been arrested in this case. The good news, "Iris" is now safe at the Humane Society, ready for her forever home.
The Humane Society has raised a $500 reward to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
In a surveillance video, you can see what the humane society describes as an orange-haired Hispanic person walk over to a kennel and take out a puppy. Soon after, the suspect stuffs the young dog, named Iris, into a handbag and leaves the building.
