TAMPA, Fla — Two people are in the hospital after being struck by lightning Saturday.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 20s were leaving the Yankees game when they were struck by lightning in parking Lot 1 at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Fire Rescue transported both patients to the hospital. A spokesperson with TFR says that both people were talking and alert when transported to the hospital.
