Hillsborough deputies are investigating an overnight crash that ended with a truck lodged into the side of a Riverview home.
Neighbors say a driver ran a stop sign just after 2 a.m. and crashed through the carport, into three cars and then into the home. These neighbors also say the man tried to run off after the crash, but they were able to keep him there until deputies arrived.
Hillsborough County deputies arrested and charged the driver, 37-year-old Yordys Rivero Ramos, with DUI and property damage.
It was not immediately clear if the damaged house was safe for the family to stay in.
