A severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Tampa Bay area counties.
Strong winds. lightning and heavy rain sweep through the Tampa Bay area, but caused no reports of major damage.
A tornado warning was issued briefly for parts of Hillsborough and Pasco counties, but ended by midday..
Rain will continue this afternoon as it moves to south and east this afternoon.
New warnings are still possible.
