Shots rang out overnight in the quiet Cypress Creek neighborhood in Ruskin.
Around 10 p.m. Monday, a group of people met on Fire Rock Place to sell some items they had posted to an online swap shop website.
The Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office tells us that during the transaction an argument broke out leading to shots being fired.
Three people were hit, and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue rushed them to Tampa General Hospital. The three people that were shot are expected to survive their injuries.
Investigators gathered evidence early Tuesday morning.
The identity of the people shot and how they were involved in this altercation was unknown as of early Tuesday morning.
