Three people were hurt in a school bus crash in Plant City.

A minivan and school bus collided near the intersection of Turkey Creek Road and Highway 60 just before 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The injuries include at least two people in the minivan and at least one person aboard the bus. The two in the minivan were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The person injured on the bus was a student at Turkey Creek Middle School. Five students were on the bus at the time of the crash, with three more about to get on when the crash occurred. Responders checked out two students for injuries.

SR-60 has reopened eastbound, but westbound remains closed between Turkey Creek and Dover due to this accident. FHP is asking drivers to avoid the area.
