TAMPA, Fla — The Tampa Theater announced its first live event since the beginning of the pandemic.

They're hosting a free outdoor screening of "A Wonderful Life" Saturday, December 12. The screening will be held at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park at 7 p.m.

The theatre says reservations are required to keep the event socially distant.

Each ticket can have up to six people and they'll be seated in one of 40 designated pods spread across the lawn.

Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.

"Ticket reservations are required as attendance is significantly limited due to COVID-19. Each ticket is valid for one socially distanced "pod" of up to 6 guests. DO NOT reserve a ticket for each guest. Masks will be required while standing and walking."
