The Tampa police department is working to identify and arrest suspects involved in a fatal shooting at the Tzadik Oaks Apartments on the afternoon of October 29.

When police arrived at the scene at 3:24 p.m., they found Christopher K. Dexter Jr. suffering from upper body trauma. Dexter was transported to a local hospital where he later died on October 30.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and say the shooting does not appear to be random.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay has offered a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect(s) and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application.  Crime Stoppers must be contacted first in order to be eligible for a cash reward.
