Two Tampa police officers came to the rescue of a cat stranded in Hillsborough Bay near Harbour Island Sunday.
Officers Balch and Hanlon responded to a call of the cat in the bay, according to a Tampa Police Department's Facebook post. The officers borrowed the homeowners' kayaks to paddle out in the bay to pluck the cat from the water.
They safely returned to shore with the cat in tow.
