Tampa, Fla. — Black Friday sales start earlier and earlier. Best Buy will once again open on Thanksgiving Day.
The first shopper set up a tent on Monday at the Best Buy on North Dale Mabry Highway.
"I was here Monday night, right after work, I came here at 8pm," said Ray Solomon, first shopper in line.
Solomon says he has saved a spot in line about a dozen times in the past. He mainly saves money on electronics. He says it's worth the wait to save nearly $300.
Best Buy is offering deals like a Sharp 50" LED 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV Roku TV for $179.99. Other deals include saving $400 dollars on a Sony 60" TV. On sale for $599.99.
About four tents were outside the Best Buy by Wednesday night.
"Because it does take away from the dinner, the holiday and everything like that, but you got to do what you go to do to get that price," said Milton Toro Marquez, shopper.
Best Buy will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The store will close at 1 a.m. and then reopen on Black Friday.
