Authorities are likely to arrest an 89-year-old man after shots were fired in a Highlands County SWAT standoff. The standoff ended peacefully after the SWAT unit entered the home and the man surrendered.
Highlands County Sheriff's Office said the man had barricaded himself in side the home with a rifle.
Officials sent out a reverse 911 call advising residents in the Sebring neighborhood.
The man received medical treatment, but no other injuries were reported.
