Post-Tropical Cyclone Nestor forces cancellation of events around Tampa Bay

The expected impacts from Tropical Storm Nestor in the Gulf of Mexico is forcing several events around Tampa Bay to be canceled or postponed.

Here is the up-to-the-minute-list:

Kathleen Middle School

  • Classes canceled Monday and Tuesday

Catholic Youth Sports Friday practices and Saturday games

  • Canceled

Fergtoberfest II at Ferg's St. Petersburg

  • Canceled

Clearwater Jazz Holiday

  • Canceled on Friday
  • Check here for weather-related delays or cancellations on Saturday and Sunday

St. Pete's Science Festival and MarineQuest

  • Canceled

Big Sing St. Pete

  • Canceled

Citrus County's 2019 drive-thru flu clinic

  • Scheduled for Oct. 19 will now be held as a walk-in clinic. Park your car and walk into the Lecanto Health Dept. at 3700 W. Sovereign Path for a free flu vaccine from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
