LAKE PLACID, Fla. — Four people died in a two-vehicle traffic crash on State Road 70 and County Road 721 in Lake Placid Sunday, officials said.
The accident occurred at about 12:24 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said.
No details were released about the crash.
State troopers closed S.R. 70 to investigate. They anticipate the road will be closed for several hours.
