Missing Bradenton boy spent night at friend's house

9:30AM UPDATE | Nine-year-old Caleb Steele of Bradenton has been found safe, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said. He spent Saturday night at a friend's house.

ORIGINAL STORY | A 9-year-old boy went missing in Bradenton Saturday night, Manatee County sheriff's deputies said.

Caleb N. Steele was last seen at home in the 3800 block of Fifth St. E. about 7 p.m. Saturday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said. 

He left home on foot trying to follow his older brother, who left on a bicycle. 

At the time, Caleb's brother did not know Caleb left home to follow him, deputies said. 

Caleb is 4-foot-11, weighs 95 pounds, has short, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange "Sarasota Redskins" football shirt, lime green shorts, black Nike sneakers with white logo.

Deputies ask anyone with information about Caleb's whereabouts to call the Manatee sheriff's office at (941) 747-3011.
