Search begins for endangered Pinellas Park man

Pinellas Park police are requesting the public's help to find a missing man with special needs, authorities said.

Christian Molina, 22, of Pinellas Park was last seen about 7:30 a.m. Thursday walking from his father's place of employment in the 4900 block of 72nd Avenue to the Vincent House at 4801 78th Ave. N. in Pinellas Park.

The Vincent House, which is a group home, contacted Molina's father about noon to tell him his son had not arrived, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department. A waiting several more hours for Molina to turn up, his family filed a missing persons report.

According to a Pinellas Park police news release, Molina's father said his son has special needs and functions on the level of a 12 year old. He was described as white, 120 to 130 pounds, 5-foot-7 with blond hair, brown eyes and wearing dark framed eye glasses.

He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, blue jeans and was carrying a red lunch box.

Pinellas Park police is asking anyone with information about Molina's whereabouts to dial 911 or call the Pinellas Park Police Department.
